Vero Beach - Friday

We've been to the beach almost every day but haven't actually just sat in the sun. So we headed to WalMart to buy a couple of beach chairs and hit the sand.

The waves were rather rough today and it did start to rain for about 10 minutes. 

But the coolness of the breeze coming off the ocean makes for a very enjoyable couple of hours. 

Friday evening we went to the Vero Beach Resort and Spa to their lounge called Cobalts. The DJ was rather unique in that he not only played songs from the 60's and 70's but sang along with them - very upscale karaoke. When he took a break another man stepped in with his collection of Frank Sinatra tunes. I liked this place because I felt and looked like one of the youngest ones there. Maybe we'll go back next week.
