New Shirt

Several months ago I was invited to an online shirt design party. Same thing as a Tupperware party but you shop online as opposed to going to someone's house. I bought a couple of tee shirts, then a couple of long sleeve tee shirts, then a sweatshirt.

I'm not crazy about all the patterns (there's hundreds of them) but when I come across one I love, I can't help but buy a new shirt. This was my latest purchase. The colors are so vivid and will be perfect for the warmer weather. Hopefully I'll be able to go places where I can wear it.

Build A Bear Birthday - 2 Year Old Hazel

It was a Build A Bear birthday for Hazel.

She's still be bit shy about full participation but she loved her new bear.

It seems as though we've been celebrating Violet and Hazel's birthday the whole month of March. But getting together with the kids is always great for me.

Lunch was at Salty Iguana only because the wait at Red Robin was way too long.

I forgot to bring the birthday sombrero but I did get a picture at Hazel's family birthday party. Are the March birthday celebrations over? Not yet. Michele will be here for Easter which means we go through all this again. Happy Birthday Hazel!

Breaking Rock

Work is continuing on the foundation.

They're hitting rock but that's a double edged sword according to Jamie and the builder. It makes for a stronger foundation but there's additional costs. At least I have a cap in my contract. I'm just glad work is progressing!

They're Starting to Dig

I drove by my subdivision and noticed they're starting to dig the foundation for my new house.

Even though the hole wasn't that big, at least there's progress being made. Now if the rain will just stop, I might actually get concrete and framing.

Another Birthday Party

Due to runny noses, Hazel's 2 year old birthday party turned into a family affair.

A baby doll, Minnie Mouse backpack, clothes and swim gear for all kids were just a few of the many gifts received.

While there were no other 2 year olds running around, I like the cozy atmosphere of just family.

One of Hazel's favorite gifts was my inchworm. Even though I didn't put it together correctly (notice the back wheels), Hazel quickly learned how to jump on it to make it move.

Even Violet received a few gifts for her recent birthday. It must be great to be a kid and getting to celebrate your birthday during the entire month of March. Happy Birthday to Hazel and again to Violet!

Violet Turns 8 Years Old

It's hard to believe that Baby Violet is already 8 years old.

Time flies so fast. Even though dinner was at Culver's instead of a Mexican restaurant, I still brought the Mexican birthday hat.

I can say gifts are easier to buy for Violet. I just look through my own stuff and get her something a littler younger. Although I did make a big mistake and got her pretend makeup. I didn't realize it was more a Hazel type gift. But Violet was able to go through the contents and pick what she wanted and gave the rest to Hazel. Happy Birthday Violet!

Get Air Birthday Party

A Get Air beach themed birthday party was the choice for Violet to have a birthday party with her friends.

Get Air is an indoor trampoline amusement center with plenty of activities to keep kids occupied and burn off lots of energy.

In keeping with the beach themed party, Violet sported a "Peace Out Seven, I'm Eight" tie dyed shirt.

She may be going on 8 but she's never to young to take a picture with her Ma!
