Crawdads in the Street

I've seen many things in my neighborhood either early in the morning or in the evening while taking the puppies for a walk. I've seen birds, squirrels, deer, skunks, wild turkeys and the dreaded geese but I couldn't believe what I saw yesterday morning.

It was a crawdad just walking down the middle of the street. The picture is a little blurry because I couldn't get it to stop so I could take a picture. I almost got a rope burn trying to hold Lola back. I guess she wanted a little surf and turf dinner.
