Violet - 11 Months Old

Well we have made it through 11 months and haven't missed one picture showing Violet with her Etsy age sticker.

Although the child and clothes get bigger, the sticker size stays the same. So you don't have to page through my blog for the past year, I'm posting her first Etsy sticker picture.

This sticker is almost as big as the baby but Melissa says her belly is still the same size.

Happy Valentine's Day

It is said that gifts from the heart are more cherished than those purchased in a store. So let's take a look at the wonderful gifts I received for Valentine's Day.

First, Violet was so very thoughtful and wanted to give me her cold. No purchase necessary - just many snot-nosed kisses.

Then Melissa and Violet put together a little Valentine's Day message on the basement wall. I should be thankful it's post-its and Violet hasn't discovered crayons yet.

But the best of all came from Jamie. I can't remember the last time I received flowers. So gifts from the heart or store bought gifts.....you decide!

February Blizzard

Oh my gosh, it's been snowing since 2:00 this morning and it's still snowing. I think it's supposed to stop around 10:00 tonight.

Jamie has shoveled the sidewalk 3 times now just to make a path so we don't lose the puppies. Lola was running down the street and Jamie lost sight of her for a minute. She ran into a snow bank. I should have stayed in Florida.

Violet Has Her First Cold

Nothing can keep Violet down so you know she's sick when she's sitting on the couch with her Mommy and falls asleep.

Violet caught her first cold and has been sniffling, sneezing and coughing for the past couple of days. Some hours during the day she's very tired and other times she's very energetic. She recently learned how to give kisses which she lavishes on Mom, Dad and just about everyone. I don't mind the snotty nose kisses but I draw the line when she wants to give me a kiss AFTER she just kissed Khloe.
